Mazzetti Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1/5 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, large, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 3 celery ribs, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of tomato soup
  • 1 t sugar
  • 2 T chili powder
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg noodles package, cooked

Topping

  • grated mild cheese

Instructions

  • Brown together onions, bell pepper, celery and ground beef.  Drain.
  • Add together with all other ingredients.  Put into a casserole dish or baking pan.  Cook covered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. 
  • When done, sprinkle top with grated cheese.  Continue cooking uncovered until cheese melts.
