Recipes I Grew Up With – Green Bean Casserole

Over the next couple of posts I will be sharing some recipes I grew up with in the 1980’s. Just thinking about them brings back memories of Saturday evening supper time. Enjoy!

Green Bean Casserole

  • 2 cans French, style beans
  • 1 can French Fried Onion Rings
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 T Worcestershire Sauce


  • Drain beans.  Mix with soup and half of the onions.  Add Worcestershire sauce.  Mix.  Bake uncovered about 20 minutes at 350 degrees.  Add rest of onions to top and cook till brown.  About 5 Minutes.
