Did you have a productive Tuesday? I do believe I washed, dried, and folded about 6 loads of clothes! Now that doesn’t mean that they have all been put away..I’m just saying they are ‘ready’ to be put away. I cleaned and straightened up around the house, and emptied a few more boxes. I also messed around with all my books on Half.com so that maybe I’ll have a clue where they are located at here, plus there were so many that needed to be deleted because I’d already sold them over on E-Bay. After a few more boxes I should be finished re-adding them online. Ever since we studied ’sunk’ costs in accounting I’ve been going through and slicing prices too. Right now I’m to the point where I’m ready to just clear them all out, they are just taking up way too much space. Last semester I dropped several at different locations around school.. I may do the same this semester with a lot of the paperbacks. I’d love to read each and everyone of them.. but ‘recreational’ reading just doesn’t seem to happen when schools in session.
Yesterday turned into a really long day. For the past couple of days I’ve had this constant feeling that my nose is stopped up, but if I try to blow it..nothing happens. Well yesterday evening my left ear started hurting.. so I decided to head over to the doctors office before everything turns into a nasty head cold.
Well everything went well at the doctors office.. I got there around 4pm and they we not very busy. I told the doctor what I was feeling like.. then took a look up my nose. His remark was ‘OH WOW! Has anyone ever told you that you have a deviated septum?’ I’ve heard the term for years because of always working in a doctors office, but I didn’t think I had one. He explained that its the usual cause of recurring sinus infections.. yadda yadda yadda. I told him that he’s the first doctor in years to actually look up there, all the other times they look in my ears, throat or ‘tap’ my forehead to determine if I have an infection. Well he put me on three medicines.. a antibiotic, a decongestant, and a daily dose of Zyrtec at night.
As you can probably guess.. yes I’m sleepy.. so sleepy that I made myself get out of bed before J left for work, or I wouldn’t make it to school today. I’m feeling more awake now.. one Large cup of coffee down, and a pot left.
Other than that yesterday, all I’ve done is read and study.. and I messed around with my stuff on Half.com getting things repriced, and getting all the books together into one place.
OK.. off to the kitchen.. I hear a second cup of coffee calling me!
Have you seen the commercials on tv about the contest GM and On-Star are running.. giving away 1,000 new cars nationwide? Well a lady here in Montgomery did.. and she just won her a new car. Pretty good odd’s at winning too, only 1 in 5,500. I wonder what the odds for winning again here are.. hmmm.
Check out the story.
