I’m here going over my accounting and enjoying this cool morning. I’m test driving our windows and its nice to finally feel a breeze from outside. I know it will probably get hot outside later, but its nice for now. Its amazing what new windows can do for ventilation.. being able to open all the windows instead of only a few.
Our weekend was a pretty good one.. started out Saturday with our first Kyu (under black belt) testing at the new Dojo. We started at 10 a.m. and were finished by 1:30 p.m. Not too bad considering the number of students we had testing. I can say its a lot nicer sitting on the opposite side of the judges table now too..
After testing was over we headed out for a late lunch and then over to the Books a Million for a little while. I bought a new book on tape.. not sure when I’ll get to listen to it, but I’ll squeeze it in somewhere. I got Close Range by Annie Proulx.. its a collection of Wyoming stories. Once I’m finished I’ll ship it off to a friend of mine that lives in Wyoming. I think she’ll enjoy it too. Plus she has a long commute to school each morning, so she could listen to it during the drive.
Ok.. time to run.. its already 11 a.m. and I’m off to meet J for lunch.
OH.. with the windows open I can hear the hummingbirds when they fly up to the feeder! Neat!
