Daily Post Photo Challenge
Sunday I took a drive over to Gold Star Park in Wetumpka Alabama to see if I could get some good pictures of our fall colors. Around here autumn means we watch the tree leaves turn from green to brown over night. Well not over night, but within a few days. The park was really busy and I wasn’t the only one working on capturing the view.
On the way home I stopped to do some shopping and snapped this one. Enjoy!
I’ve always loved watching clouds. They may seem to hover above, moving slowly and then the next time you look they are gone or changed. A few years ago I set up my camera and made a time lapse recording of the sky. It’s amazing to see just how much movement there is that may not be seen at first glance.
Long weekends are a time to relax and a time to reflect. This memorial day weekend take time out to reflect back on those who have served our country and paid the ultimate price. It’s their sacrifice that allows us to be able to enjoy peaceful weekends in the woods.
